Navy League Jax Council entry in Jacksonville's Veterans Day Parade

The parade route is approximately 2.47 miles long.  It will begin on Talleyrand Ave. and end at The Prime Osborne Convention Center on Bay St. Schedule of Events: Saturday, November 11, 2023 8:00a.m.             Parade participants may begin arrival 9:45 a.m.             All parade participants must be in place in their line-up position at Tailgaters Touchdown Lot 11:01 a.m.          Parade begins. 2:00 p.m.             Parade ends. Note: This time is approximate. Address: Parade Line-Up: Tailgaters Touchdown Lot, 225 Talleyrand Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32202 *Line-Up access is via the entry gates on E. Adams St. and E. Duval St. See below for bus drop-off and parking info. Parking: Free parking is available for parade participants and the end of the parade route in the Prime Osborne Convention Center Parking Lot, 1130 W. Bay St., Jacksonville, FL 32204 (see attached map). A shuttle will be provided to transport participants from the parking lot to the Parade Line-Up at the Tailgaters Touchdown Lot. Line-Up Area: Tailsgaters Touchdown Lot, ROW 7-5 Your group must be in its line-up area by no later than 9:45 a.m. If your organization arrives late, your place in the parade will not be held. The parade will officially begin at 11:01 a.m. Vehicles that are not pre-registered to participate in the parade will not be allowed inside the line-up area. Parking for non-registered participant vehicles is located at the Prime Osborne Convention Center Parking Lot, 1130 W. Bay St. Tailgating is not permitted in participant parking lot. Emergency Information If you need assistance once you arrive onsite or during the parade, please locate a Division of Sports and Entertainment staff member in a red City of Jacksonville polo. Weather The Veterans Day Parade is a rain or shine event.  However, if inclement weather threatens the event, we will notify the on-site contact we have on file for your group.Please be sure we have a current cell phone number for your group’s on-site contact, as that will be the fastest way to receive emergency notifications which we may send by text or phone call. Commercial Sponsorships If any logo(s) or references other than the approved participating organization are displayed at the parade, a $2,000 charge will be invoiced to the organization and will be required to provide payment by November 30, 2023. Non-compliance will result in forfeiture of participation in the event.
