About the Event
Join us for The Least Worst Place: A Navy Leader’s Perspective, featuring retired U.S. Navy Captain Bob Buehn, former commanding officer of U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and a Past President of the Jax Council of the Navy League. Hear how the base underwent radical changes preparing for the arrival of the terrorists in the weeks and months following 9/11, changes that still shape its mission today. Captain Buehn will also give an update on what’s happening at “Gitmo” now.
