About the Event
Navy League Jacksonville is proud to announce our next mixer and introduce the guest speaker, former Blue Angels Operations Officer, Commander Rob Surgeoner.
After completing his Blue Angels tour in 1995, Rob returned to NAS Cecil Field as Officer-in-Charge of the S-3B Weapons Training Unit for Commander, Sea Control Wing, U.S. Atlantic Fleet. In 2007, Rob reported to NAS Jacksonville, Florida, as Operations Officer and Director for the 2008 and 2010 “Birthplace of the Blue Angels” Air Shows. He retired as a Commander in February 2011. Rob has also served in the Arabian Gulf, and Iraq during his twenty five years of service in the Navy, as well as naval detail in Japan.
